Step inside the future of sterile processing

This form will be monitored during AscendX 2026 and you will receive a text message when an Experience Lab visit time opens up. 

Ascendco has just launched the Ascendco Experience Lab inside our brand-new Chicago headquarters: a fully operational, immersive environment that brings real sterile processing workflows to life.

During AscendX, we’ll shuttle attendees from the Swissotel Chicago to the Experience Lab and back. The full experience takes approximately one hour door to door, including transportation and a hands-on visit.

The Experience Lab is more than a showroom. It is a working simulation of a hospital sterile processing department, complete with instruments, trays, tracking systems, and connected workflows. During your visit, you’ll:

  • Follow the complete instrument lifecycle: from receiving and decontamination through assembly, sterilization, storage, case picking, and surgical use
  • See new technologies and practical innovations shaping sterile processing and perioperative operations
  • Explore how real-time data, automation, workflow guidance, and visibility can improve quality, efficiency, compliance, and patient care
  • Experience partner activations and integrated solutions in the context of real hospital workflows
  • Meet Ascendco team members and see how feedback from healthcare leaders helps shape what comes next
  • Complimentary shuttle transportation will be provided from the Swissotel Chicago to Ascendco’s Chicago headquarters (222 W Hubbard St.) and back.
  • Plan for approximately 60–65 minutes door to door.
  • Arrive at the designated hotel shuttle meeting point at least 10 minutes before your departure time.
  • Space is limited to approximately 20–30 guests per visit window.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday options overlap with meals or conference programming; review the notes before selecting.
  • Final assignments will be confirmed based on availability and transportation capacity.

There are times to visit the Experience Lab throughout all 3 days of the conference. However, we strongly recommend choosing a Monday time. Monday visits take place during arrival and check-in, so you can experience the Lab without missing conference education, keynotes, networking, or other scheduled content.
